Are you an experienced PMO professional motivated to bring structure, clarity, and consistency to complex global programmes? Do you thrive in environments where collaboration, governance, and precision are vital for meeting delivery goals efficiently? We’re looking for an organized and capable PMO Lead to join our Enterprise ERP programme—a multi-year transformation initiative spanning multiple countries including Denmark, Poland and Spain. In this pivotal role, you’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to provide programme oversight, drive delivery excellence, and embed best-practice methodologies across our enterprise-wide projects. With visibility at senior levels and control across workstreams, this is your opportunity to shape how we deliver one of the most significant programmes in our business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing programme governance and delivery progress across the Enterprise ERP programme, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets
- Maintaining robust documentation and control processes via project tools like SharePoint, including process maps, training materials, and test scripts
- Supporting budget tracking and capex spend approvals, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting
- Developing, embedding, and evolving project delivery methodologies, templates, and best practices across workstreams
- Acting as a central coordination point between project managers, change leads, and GPOs to ensure programme alignment and consistency
- Supporting resource planning and ensuring project teams have the right tools, templates, and guidance to deliver effectively
- Identifying and resolving documentation gaps or risks to delivery by collaborating closely with key stakeholders
- Providing an active analyst service when required, to assess constraints and propose practical delivery improvements
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting PMOs in large-scale transformation programmes, ideally within ERP implementations (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365)
- Proficient understanding of project governance, documentation control, and budget management in complex, cross-functional environments
- A degree-level qualification is essential; MBA or relevant project/programme management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP)
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or finance environments, with exposure to vendors or consultancy (Big Four experience a plus)
- Organisational and analytical skills with a detail-focused approach to managing artefacts, plans, and risks
- Ability to work closely and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including project managers, change leads, and executive sponsors
- Experience working in a matrix structure and across geographically dispersed teams, with effective cross-cultural communication skills
Location: Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drink facilities, free lunch option each day and a great team culture. Please note, this role may require occasional travel to AB Agri sites in the UK and overseas.
