Are you an experienced ERP Solution Architect with a passion for designing end-to-end solutions that enable business performance? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of technology and operations, shaping ERP solutions that support complex manufacturing environments? We are looking for a talented ERP Solution Architect to join a growing, high-impact function. In this role you’ll provide oversight and governance of ERP solution design, working closely with global process owners, business analysts, and delivery teams to ensure our ERP platform supports and enhances business operations across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the end-to-end solution architecture for ERP implementations, ensuring designs align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • Working closely with global process owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
  • Providing architectural governance and oversight across ERP projects and BAU enhancements.
  • Leading and assuring solution design across core ERP modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, and Purchase to Pay.
  • Supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, and go-lives, including hands-on involvement at key project milestones.
  • Assessing existing systems, integrations, and processes to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring ERP solutions integrate effectively with surrounding applications and integrations.
  • Driving continuous improvement, monitoring system performance and recommending enhancements to optimise ERP capability.

What You’ll Bring

  • Broad IT experience with significant hands-on ERP solution architecture and implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Essential experience within manufacturing, ideally food & beverage or FMCG.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP platforms such as Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven ability to design functional, implementable ERP solutions.
  • Experience working closely with business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading or influencing cross-functional teams through ERP delivery and change.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.

Location

This role operates within a hybrid working model, with a base location in Peterborough. Occasional travel may be required to support project activities and ERP go-live phases, working closely with business and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
