Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical grounding and a passion for delivering complex IT programmes that improve how a business operates? Do you enjoy working end-to-end across system design, integrations, data, testing and go-live, taking ownership of delivery and outcomes? We’re looking for an ERP Project Manager (IT Deliverables Lead) to join us at a critical point in our ERP journey. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of ERP IT workstreams across design, build, test and deployment, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality, on-time and on-budget delivery that supports our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Owning the delivery of ERP IT workstreams end-to-end, from design through to go-live and hypercare
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, roadmaps, dependencies and critical paths
- Managing governance activities including status reporting, RAID management and escalation handling
- Coordinating technical design, configuration and build activities with internal teams and implementation partners
- Leading delivery of system integrations between ERP and surrounding systems (e.g. HR, WMS, MES, finance, reporting)
- Overseeing the technical aspects of data migration, including ETL activities, mock conversions and reconciliation
- Planning and managing IT testing activities (SIT, performance, security and cutover rehearsals)
- Leading IT cutover planning, go-live readiness, and coordinating hypercare and stabilisation activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical or ERP Project Manager delivering complex, full lifecycle ERP implementations
- Broad IT experience across applications, integrations, infrastructure and environments
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG or food & beverage)
- Strong understanding of ERP platforms (Infor M3 experience highly desirable)
- A proactive, hands-on and action-oriented delivery style, able to operate independently with minimal oversight
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences
- Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners, managing scope, quality and timelines
This role operates within a hybrid working model, with a base location in Peterborough. Occasional travel may be required to support project activities and ERP go-live phases, working closely with business and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
