Overview
As a Dairy Performance Specialist, you build long-term partnerships with dairy farmers across the South West and act as a trusted nutritional adviser, blending sales with consultancy. You will grow accounts, analyse herd data, and deliver value-driven solutions from AB Agri’s portfolio. You’ll work across multiple businesses to optimise farm performance and profitability. This role offers cross-functional collaboration, hands-on field engagement, and a meaningful impact on dairy farming outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Develop long-term partnerships with dairy farmers and farm businesses
- Conduct regular reviews to maximise value from products and services
- Analyse farm and herd performance data to provide practical recommendations
- Help customers improve productivity and profitability
- Grow existing accounts and win new business opportunities
- Promote a broad portfolio of feed, herd health, milk recording, genomic and consultancy solutions
- Create integrated solutions meeting customer needs and delivering measurable results
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple businesses to optimise customer outcomes
- Represent the business at farm walks, industry events, customer meetings and agricultural forums
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate CRM records
- Monitor territory performance and identify growth opportunities
- Turn data and market intelligence into commercial opportunities
Key requirements
- Agricultural sales or account management experience
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and negotiation capability
- Understanding of dairy/livestock farming systems

- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
