Site Location: Flixborough, North Lincolnshire, UK

Contract and Shift details: Permanent, 2-week rotating pattern with flexibility for working days to move.

Shift Example below:

  • Week 1 – 4 X 10hr, 1 X 8hr days flexing between Monday to Saturday
  • Week 2 – 4 X 12hr Nights 6pm – 6am flexing between Sunday to Friday

The Mill Operator has an important part in supporting the mill operations process, contributing directly to the achievement of business goals, and ensuring feed safety and health standards are maintained.

Main Purpose: Conduct various tasks including raw material intake, bulk out loading, pressing, blending, additives preparation, and hygiene maintenance to maximise efficiency, service, and feed consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Weigh and load finished product lorries with the correct feed types, conducting quality checks.
  • Maintain required hygiene levels in the mill.
  • Weigh raw material vehicles in and out of site, ensuring quality checks and proper routing.
  • Prepare and supply hand-tip additions for blending.
  • Conduct stock checks and perform press and blending operations when required.
  • Undertake swabbing and sampling processes.

About you:

  • Prior experience in food/agricultural/production environments
  • Working with automated plant machinery
  • Feed mill experience (Desirable)
  • FLT License (Desirable)
