The Role & Key Responsibilities
Location: Remote / Flexible UK
Contract: 3-6 months Fixed-term
Are you an IT administrator looking to take on a role that gives you GRC / Cyber Security exposure? Do you have experience of working in a project orientated environment where organisation is key? Due to an internal secondment opportunity, we have a requirement to take on an Analyst to join our Cyber Security team within ABF Business Technology Services (BTS) function. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact and be part of a journey to transform security in a FTSE100 business. You will be a key part of the Security team building on your knowledge and supporting the team within the GRC centre of excellence.
What you'll do:
- Run the daily GRC triage and monitor incoming requests throughout the working day in response to tasks within the Assyst queue, GRC mailbox and GRC Planner.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively on GRC compliance.
- Support the activities required to align to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Cybersecurity Framework, ISO27001 Information Security Management Systems and ISO27701 Privacy Information Management Systems (PIMS).
- Aid and support the Privacy Lead responding to requests for Data Release cases from individuals.
- Assist the Privacy Lead with content for presentations and updates to stakeholders such as Group Legal.
- Collate evidence for routine assurance checks to determine the effectiveness of existing information security and identify areas where such controls require improvement.
- Security Assurance activities in support of BTS projects.
- Learn new technologies along the way through internal and external training and development opportunities.
What you'll bring:
- Comprehensive administration / coordination skills within a professional services team.

- Strong customer service / stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is key.
- An understanding of ISO 27001 Security Standard would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of data security, privacy, security assurance, risk management, supply chain management issues / controls.
