The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job title: ERP Transformations Analyst (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office).

We\’re looking for an ERP Transformations Analyst to join our Central Finance team in Peterborough. In this role, you\’ll play a key part in rolling out our new ERP system, supporting the centralisation of finance processes, and ensuring our teams are ready for go-live and beyond. Working alongside the Transformations Manager, project team, and business units, you\’ll help embed new ways of working that will improve our finance operations across AB Agri.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Building a strong understanding of existing finance processes, with a focus on purchase ledger and banking activities.
- Conducting thorough testing of finance modules and integrations, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and appropriate controls.
- Delivering engaging training programmes, including creating user guides, work instructions, and process maps to support end users.
- Supporting the centralisation of purchase ledger and banking activities into Central Finance, ensuring smooth transitions aligned with ERP go-live.
- Assisting with cutover activities and providing support during go-live and hypercare phases to minimise disruption.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Central Finance, business units, and the ERP project team to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Documenting processes, integrations, and system changes to maintain accurate records for compliance and future reference.
- Providing day-to-day support post-implementation, resolving process issues, and assisting with change requests, testing, and training.
What you\’ll bring
- Experience working in finance operations ideally with knowledge of accounts payable and transactional processes.
- Understanding of operational processes within a finance department, with keen sense of detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in managing competing priorities and working to tight deadlines.
- Proficient communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.
- An innovative and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Experience using process mapping tools and documenting processes (desirable).
- Previous exposure to ERP systems (an advantage but not essential).
- AAT or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) would be beneficial, but not required.
Location
This role is based at our Peterborough office, with a hybrid working pattern of three days per week on site. Occasional travel may be required to other AB Agri sites, mainly for relationship building and project activities, but this will not be extensive. Some flexibility around working hours may also be needed during key project phases such as go-live.
