Role: Customer Services Coordinator (Export)
Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire, UK
Contract: Full time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional travel to our Fradley site.
Salary: Starting from £27,000 with a performance-related bonus, pension contributions matched up to 10%, and flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and development.
Are you organised, detail-focused and looking for a role where you can take ownership of the whole export process? We’re looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to join our export team in Rugeley. This is a hands-on role where you’ll look after the full process of export orders, from entering orders on our system (AX) right through to making sure goods are shipped and all the paperwork is complete and correct.
You’ll be working closely with our planning and production teams, as well as hauliers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing export orders and booking transport and veterinary appointments
- Preparing shipping documents and customs paperwork
- Working with hauliers, customs agents, and internal teams to keep everything on track
- Handling health and veterinary certificates, particularly for Irish shipments
- Keeping an eye on schedules and dealing with any issues that arise
- Using Excel and other reporting tools to support the team
- Communicating with customers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to provide updates and answer questions
- Supporting the export vet on scheduled days to help ensure everything runs smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in export coordination or international logistics is ideal, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and confidence managing documentation and schedules
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Confidence building good working relationships with colleagues, hauliers, and external partners
- Willingness to travel between sites, with a full driving licence and access to a car
- Attention to detail and an understanding of export compliance and paperwork is an advantage, but training can be provided
- Enthusiasm to learn and the ambition to grow your career within the business
