The Role & Key Responsibilities
Location: This role is aligned to our Peterborough office on a hybrid working model, but we are also open to fully remote UK candidates. Occasional travel required.
Contract type, shift pattern, working hours: Permanent, 37.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, aligned to US East Coast hours 13:30–22:00 UK time.
Our Project Services team at ABF Business Technology Services is looking for a talented Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and business technology projects across the US, Canada and Central America. You’ll deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the full end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from initiation through to delivery and service transition.
- Leading multiple concurrent projects across a diverse international technology portfolio.
- Facilitating project definition workshops and gathering requirements from key stakeholders.
- Producing and maintaining project documentation including Project Initiation Documents, project plans, RAID logs and status reports.
- Managing project budgets, forecasting and financial tracking to ensure effective cost control.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and resource scheduling to ensure successful project delivery.
- Driving stakeholder engagement and communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supporting change management activities and ensuring seamless transition into operational support.
