Role Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team as part of a growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless operations for our business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete customer order journey, from input to delivery and invoicing.
- Be transparent with customers, managing expectations and proactively addressing issues.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Technical, Planning, and Credit Control, to resolve pricing, product, or account queries.
- Monitor order dispatches and investigate delays, ensuring customers are promptly informed of any adjustments.
- Build positive relationships with hauliers to guarantee seamless deliveries.
- Handle urgent/animal welfare orders efficiently in coordination with Nutritionists and Planning.
- Attend monthly species meetings, sharing updates on key issues and wins.
- Reduce returns and rejections by ensuring accuracy from the start, as measured by monthly credit reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoicing issues related to bulk deliveries and period-end reporting.
- Investigate and resolve customer credit note requests and log complaints for continuous improvement.
- Share best practices across the team to support alignment and professional development.

- Excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for customer service.
- A credible, proactive, and forward-thinking team player who thrives under pressure.
- Proficient in Excel with strong organizational and timekeeping skills.
