The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job Title: Category Development Manager – Performance Products
Location: United Kingdom (Home based – with occasional travel to sites such as Peterborough and Harrogate).
Package includes: Salary from £51,500, plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, including discretionary performance related bonus, car allowance, private healthcare, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and leadthe strategic direction of our performance products category, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
- Use yourtechnical understanding of ruminant nutrition and performanceto identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Analysemarket trends, customer needs, and competitor activityto inform product development and positioning.
- Develop and implementpricing, promotion, and go-to-market strategiesthat drive value and margin growth.
- Design and deliver targeted marketing campaignsthat support category objectives and enhance product visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally withtechnical, Commercial, Sales, marketing, and operationsto deliver cohesive category plans.
- Manage the product lifecycle, identifying gaps, rationalisation opportunities, and areas for innovation.
- Monitor category performance usingdata, customer feedback, and commercial KPIs.
- Be thevoice of the customer and the market, influencing product roadmaps and strategic decisions.

Location
This role is predominantly home-based and can be performed remotely. Occasional visits to our recently refurbished Peterborough office, as well as other sites across the UK.
