The Company AAVantgarde is a clinical-stage, international biotechnology company headquartered in Italy. We have developed two cutting-edge AAV vector platforms to overcome DNA cargo limitations, targeting Usher syndrome type 1B and Stargardt disease. Founded by the renowned Professor Alberto Auricchio, a pioneer in gene therapy, our mission is to transform genetic medicine for patients with no current therapeutic options.

The Role: In this role, you will oversee all clinical data management tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. You will liaise between vendors, clinical teams, and other functional team members, maintaining seamless communication and collaboration. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements, managing data entry, validation, and cleaning processes using Medidata Rave. Additionally, you will support the development and review of case report forms, study database structures, and data management plans, performing quality checks and edit checks to maintain data accuracy. Your hands-on support and troubleshooting for data-related issues will be crucial to the success of our clinical trials.

Skills and experience required: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical data management, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting. Hands-on experience with Medidata Rave and other clinical data management systems is essential. A strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations is required, along with a proven track record of managing data for clinical trials, including vendor oversight. Excellent organizational and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are also key requirements.
