Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Strategic Lead – Strategy & Commissioning (Adults) on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

To support the amalgamation of support functions across both directorates, we are seeking a senior manager to work alongside the Assistant Director to support the continuity of service within Adults Services Commissioning. As the deputy to the Assistant Director for Strategy and Commissioning, the candidate will support the Director of Adults Services to drive and implement the fast-paced transformation of the Adult Social Care and Health services to deliver better outcomes for people, improved value for money, and a sustainable high quality Adult Social Care system for the people of the borough, in line with the strategic priorities set out in the Adult Social Care Strategy.

The post holder will provide senior leadership, guidance and support to Heads of Service working across Adults Social Care Strategy, Commissioning and Performance to deliver consistent, efficient and effective services that support the department to deliver on the Adults Social Care Strategy and wider corporate delivery plan. Helping to move Adult Social Care forward ensuring that we have the right mix, capacity and quality of services and support arrangements to enable people to be as independent as we know they wish to be.
