Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Pest Control Officer on a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.
Note: Candidates must possess a valid driving license.
The role: To discharge the Council’s statutory obligations under the Public Health Act 1936 and the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949 ensure that, so far as is practicable, the client’s area is kept free from rats, mice and other vermin.
Experience:
- Operational pest control experience
- Proficiency in using various information systems and technology
- Ability to plan, deliver, and coordinate workloads
- Experience in planning, delivering, and coordinating projects
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Capability to work independently in accordance with agreed work programs
- Strong customer focus
- Proficient in writing concise reports and maintaining written and computerized records of case work
- Understanding and commitment to working safely
