Aatom Recruitment is looking for Fleet and Compliance Manager on behalf of a Local Authority. Job Title: Fleet and Compliance Manager Contract Duration: 2 Months Hours Per Week: 37 Important Note: Driving Licence and Transport Manager CPC essential. ROLE PURPOSE: * To provide leadership and line management enabling employees within a specialist team to perform to the best of their abilities and to adopt a managerial approach that promotes high levels of performance, employee engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement Knowledge and Skills Essential · CPC holder - Transport Manager (required to be the �O� licence holder) · Thorough knowledge of the legislative and statutory responsibilities in relation to Vehicle and Fleet Management. · Degree/professional qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent transferable skills and experience. · Experience of delivering fleet management across several service areas · Substantial experience of managing staff and budgets. · Experience of delivering innovation and effective, sustainable and environmental initiatives · Excellent planning and organisation skills. · Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels. · Strong influencing skills, experience in dealing with difficult situations. Desirable · Health & Safety qualification · Member of a Relevant Professional body · Experience of business/service planning and of performance management. · Experience of corporate working and management in a comparable organisation. · Experience of managing assets such as depots and buildings used in the delivery of operational services. · Knowledge of the legislative and statutory responsibilities in relation to fleet management · Evidence of continuing professional development · Experience of working in Local Government
