Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Fostering Panel Adviser on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension. This is a part time role, 22 hours per week.
Main accountabilities:
- To be the department's expert on all Fostering panel matters.
- To quality assure documents being presented for panel and minutes following panel.
- To provide professional supervision and appraisal to a diverse team of panel members.
- To be knowledgeable in Fostering and Adoption legislation and regulations and how it applies to the work of the panel.
- To work within (but not limited to) the legislative and statutory framework, 2002 Adoption Act, Fostering Regulations 2011 and the National Minimum Standards, Government Guidance, the client’s core values, core competency framework strategic aims, and the Department’s policies and procedures.
