Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Change Manager (Procurement and Supply) on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver a change consultancy service to senior managers, providing strategic business focused advice on all aspects of change management, organisational design, meeting current and future business objectives within the context of the overall Council wide strategy.
- Managing a range of complex people behavioural change related matters such as those relating to structure changes, working behaviour and procedures including gaining any relevant verbal and/or written implications.
- Maintains an overview of the issues and risks for the change programme and seeking resolution through agreed actions.
- Working as a change partner, support colleagues and management teams to focus on key business priorities and diagnose challenges, designing and implementing high quality solutions as appropriate.
- Manages change agent networks, listening to needs and seeing how best to address, producing, and writing reports, encouraging, and sharing own skills, keeping people informed and managing FAQs and internal intranet, email or other content.
- Delivers change manager related work, requiring a balancing of change management, human resources procedures, corporate ambitions, and individual service need complexities.
Requirements:
- MCIPS or Equivalent
- Trained and entirely competent in the Procurement Act 2023
- Recent public sector experience in large and complex environment
- Worked at senior style level
- Confident presenter and trainer
- Ability to work autonomously, identify problems, risk assess and convert abstract concepts to practical solutions
- Outstanding technical written skills
