Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Digital & Computing Curriculum Manager on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

We are looking for a Digital Curriculum Lead who will play a crucial role in developing and delivering an outstanding digital curriculum, ensuring learners achieve the best possible outcomes.
The Role
This role is pivotal in shaping the digital curriculum and ensuring high standards of teaching and assessment. You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring learners’ progress to support their success, while also leading and inspiring a team of educators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing a dynamic digital curriculum aligned with industry standards.
- Learner Progression: Tracking, monitoring, and supporting learners to achieve high success rates.
- Teaching & Assessment: Delivering engaging teaching sessions and assessments to support learner development.
- Team Leadership: Managing and motivating a team of educators, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional development.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensuring safeguarding legislation is effectively applied within the learning environment.
- Equity & Inclusion: Embedding principles of diversity and inclusion across all aspects of the curriculum and teaching.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A teaching and learning qualification at Level 5.
- A degree or professional qualification in a Digital or Computing subject.
- Level 2 English and Numeracy (or equivalent).
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related applications.
- Experience in curriculum development within a post-16 education environment.
- A proven ability to track and monitor learners to support outstanding outcomes.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and its application in education.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- An IQA or other Assessor/Internal Verifier qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role within further or adult education.
