Working on behalf of a Local authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Substance Misuse Worker on a 2 months basis initially with a possibility of further extension.

Main accountabilities:

  • To take a lead in providing assessment and interventions to identify, prevent and reduce drug and alcohol related offending by children and young people.
  • This includes working with young people on statutory orders both in the community and in custody as well as those that are willing to engage with treatment services on a voluntary basis.
  • To prevent offending and re-offending by children and young people age 8-17.
