We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong Full Stack Web Developer who is passionate about building modern, scalable web applications and delivering high‑quality digital experiences. As part of our Development team, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining AAT’s web applications using modern frameworks and AWS cloud technologies.
What will you be doing?
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Build responsive, user‑focused front‑end experiences and robust, scalable back‑end services, working closely with designers, product owners, platform teams, and external partners.
Major objectives
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using Angular, Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain cloud‑native applications on AWS.
- Develop responsive, mobile‑first user interfaces using Angular and Tailwind.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and NoSQL data models (e.g. DynamoDB).
- Ensure seamless integration between front‑end and back‑end components.
- Contribute to solution architecture with a focus on scalability, security and performance.
- Work within Agile delivery teams, participating in ceremonies and continuous improvement.
- Support BAU activities, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Ensure applications meet web and cloud security best practices (e.g. OWASP).
- Produce clear technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands‑on experience with Node.js and building secure RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience working with AWS services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing and modern development practices.
- Understanding of cloud‑native and serverless architectures.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across technical and non‑technical teams.
We offer
- Hybrid Working Model: 1–2 days in our Canary Wharf office. Alternative working models will also be considered, must be UK based, with occasional travel to the Canary Wharf office.
- Salary: ÂŁ60,000 - ÂŁ70,000 per annum, based on experience.
- Closing Date: The planned closing date for this role is 30 April 2026 at 17.00, however, we reserve the right to close the role earlier than planned.
