What exactly will you be doing?
- As a Business Development Executive, you will be fully focused on securing B2B sales and will play a key role in growing AAT’s reach and impact by promoting our qualifications, apprenticeships and training solutions to employers and partners.
- You will be part of a collaborative team focused on driving revenue, building strategic relationships and supporting the development of future talent.
- You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, convert leads and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Major objectives:
- Proactively identify and engage business prospects to generate qualified leads.
- Manage inbound enquiries and convert them into new business opportunities.
- Support business development meetings and attend industry events.
- Provide market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on lead conversion and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and engagement.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within the education or training sector.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeships and professional qualifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and projects with a customer‑centric approach.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- A self‑starter with a collaborative mindset and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Knowledge of the accounting profession or AAT products is desirable.
