Operations Team Member
We are urgently looking for an Operations Associate to join our tight‑knit team. The shift runs 11:00 – 20:00, and you will be involved in all aspects of courier operations from local collections and deliveries to processing and labelling outbound consignments.
Responsibilities
- Verifying and processing shipments worldwide
- Completing allocated collections and deliveries, then returning to the warehouse with consignments collected earlier in the day
- Dealing with workplace items/issues and ensuring any problems are resolved or referred to your superior
- Handling all queries and phone calls in a timely manner
- Ensuring all packages are processed and handled according to company requirements
- Adhering to the instructions in the Operations and Company handbooks
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in the courier / logistics industry is desirable but not essential
- Proven track record of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
- Must be 25 years old or older
- Must have held a GB driving licence for a minimum of 2 years (for vehicle insurance purposes)
Any offer of employment is subject to a Basic DBS check and two references.
