Hybrid role; typical week: two days in the office in London, two days on the road, and one day working from home.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team of six, including three external Field Sales Business Development Managers, two Internal Sales professionals, and a dedicated Sales Operations Manager. You will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring revenue targets are met, and continuously improving the sales processes and systems that underpin our growth. A significant portion of your remit involves modernising the sales engine by refining the usage of the Salesforce CRM and partnering with marketing to optimise lead generation and utilise data-driven dashboards to eliminate bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.
To succeed, you must bring a proven track record of B2B sales leadership. We are looking for a strategic thinker who enjoys building teams through structured training programs that strengthen negotiation and relationship-management skills. You should possess an analytical mindset, be comfortable using data to drive actionable insights, and have a deep understanding of the unique challenges contracting businesses face in the engineering services and construction sectors.
This includes a basic salary of up to £75,000 with an additional OTE of £15,000. An industry-leading employer pension contribution. The choice of a company car or a £750 per month car allowance.
