Lead the entire Account Management function at one of the UK's biggest leasing businesses (FN50-ranked) that owns its whole fleet on-site. A seat close to the top table in Leeds where you own the strategy, the numbers and the people.

Location: Leeds (office based) | Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 but can be negotiated + bonus | Premium car, changed every 3 months | Silverstone track day | 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Company: My client is a Yorkshire-bred, nationally focused vehicle rental and leasing business, supporting companies across the UK with cars, vans and EVs. Uniquely, they own their entire fleet on-site, no middlemen, no waiting on stock. FN50-ranked and moving into a new phase of growth, which is why this leadership role has come up.

The Role: The top job in the Account Management function, reporting into the Director / Head of Sales. You own the strategy, the numbers and the people:

  • Leading, coaching and developing the whole team, Senior Key Account Managers, Account Managers and Executives
  • Setting strategy in line with growth targets and building a high-performing culture
  • Owning the commercials - revenue, gross profit, retention and growth across the portfolio
  • Holding the most senior client relationships and acting as the escalation point
  • Leading major renewals, negotiations and tender bids
  • Planning succession and developing the next generation of leaders

What You'll Need:

  • A commercially focused leader with extensive vehicle rental, leasing or fleet management experience
  • Proven experience leading and developing an account management team
  • A strong track record of driving revenue, gross profit, retention and growth
  • Confidence owning commercial performance - targets, forecasting and reporting
  • A real people leader - coaching, mentoring and succession planning
  • Based in or commutable to Leeds

Desirable: experience setting strategy at function level, a genuine interest in cars, and leading major tenders and negotiations.
