We are recruiting for a well-established UK manufacturer of premium flooring products who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to develop and grow their North East territory. The role is a true mix of new business development and account management, although the key focus is very much on growing the territory and winning new customers.
The Role
- Covering the North East region, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across your territory.
- Managing and growing an existing customer base.
- Building relationships with flooring retailers, trade customers and commercial clients.
- Conducting customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations.
- Promoting premium products and confidently selling on value rather than price.
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and market share.
- Managing your own diary and territory effectively.
- Representing the business professionally within the marketplace.
This is a field-based role where relationship building, resilience and strong communication skills are essential.
The Candidate
