We are recruiting for a well-established and highly respected technology solutions provider supplying safety, communication and security systems into the care and healthcare sectors. With a strong reputation, a loyal customer base and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities across the Midlands.
The Role
This is a consultative field sales position focused on identifying opportunities, developing relationships and securing new business with care homes, nursing homes, healthcare providers and related organisations. You'll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and networking through to quotation, negotiation and close. The role combines self-generated opportunities with inbound enquiries and leads generated through established industry partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Winning new business across the Midlands region
- Building relationships with decision-makers within care and healthcare organisations
- Managing opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Conducting face-to-face customer meetings and site visits
- Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Working closely with internal technical and operational teams
- Delivering against sales and revenue targets
About You

Most importantly, you'll have:
- A proven track record in field-based B2B sales

What's on Offer?
- £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary DOE
