Sales Development Representative (SDR) – SaaS HR Tech
Harpenden HQ (Hybrid) | £28K–£32K + Bonus | Scale-Up with Global Reach
Do you want to break into SaaS sales and be part of a company that's genuinely changing how organisations listen to and engage with their people?
We're working with a fast-growing HR tech scale-up that partners with some of the UK's biggest enterprises, universities, and charities. Their platform helps leaders understand employee engagement in real time — with data, insights, and action. They're on an exciting growth journey, and they need an ambitious SDR to help fuel it.
The Role
This isn't about smiling and dialling for the sake of it — it's about smart, targeted outreach. You'll research accounts, identify decision-makers, and reach out via phone, LinkedIn, and email to spark conversations. You'll qualify opportunities and book meetings for the senior sales team, while learning the ropes of SaaS sales in a supportive environment.
You'll be hands-on with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo — and you'll work closely with both the Account Execs and the CEO to sharpen messaging, refine outreach, and build pipeline.
What You'll Bring
- 1–2 years' experience in sales, lead gen, or customer-facing B2B role (SaaS experience helpful but not essential).
- Confidence picking up the phone and writing compelling outreach messages.
- Resilience, drive, and motivation to hit and exceed targets.
- Organised, process-driven mindset — you like seeing a clean CRM.
- A curious, proactive approach — you want to learn, grow, and progress.
What's On Offer
- £30K–£35K basic salary + bonus
- Hybrid working from their Harpenden HQ
- Structured training, coaching, and support directly from senior leadership
- The chance to accelerate a SaaS sales career in a scale-up with global clients
- A values-led culture that genuinely lives positivity, growth, and teamwork
If you're competitive, ambitious, and ready to make your mark in SaaS sales — this is your step up.
