We’re working with a fast-growth UK business providing essential services to small companies - from energy and water to card payments and EV charging. With over 130,000 customer sites already, they’re now hiring a Field Sales Account Manager to take full ownership of this high-potential Birmingham patch. You’ll have some warm leads provided, but your success will come from cold outreach and daily door-knocking - meeting owners and managers of local pubs, salons, corner shops and restaurants, and becoming their trusted advisor.
What You’ll Do- Spend around 80% of your time on cold approaches and door-knocking
- Work a mix of self-sourced opportunities and occasional qualified leads
- Represent a portfolio of everyday business services
- Build long-term relationships as the local go-to expert
- Keep on top of activity, pipeline and targets using CRM
- A confident, hands-on field sales professional with at least 2 years’ B2B experience
- Used to selling into SMEs - and happy on your feet, meeting people face-to-face
- Resilient, personable, commercially savvy, and target-driven
- Organised and self-motivated, but a team player too
- Based in one of the listed Birmingham postcodes (essential)
- Able to pass standard FCA checks (credit, DBS, etc.)
- £37K base + £5K car allowance
