Project Manager – Maritime/ Naval
Opportunity for a Project Manager with experience with Naval/ MOD electrical installation projects to join a successful, growing IT services and satellite communications organization. The role will be based out of their HQ in Redhill, Surrey area with travel required.
In this role you will deliver UK MOD maritime implementation projects across Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary and other UK MOD/UK Government vessels.

Key responsibilities:
- Project manage several, concurrent or sequential maritime installation projects.
- Produce equipment guidance and installation guidance packages and modifications leaflets based on engineering designs, surveys and stakeholder input.
- Manage the Change Impact Assessment Process (CIAP) process working with cross-functional teams and the customer.
- Project reporting and governance.
- Management and resolution of priorities, ensuring lead-times of equipment procurement, and configuration are managed.
- Work with suppliers/subcontractors to ensure equipment and services are delivered in accordance with the implementation plan.
- Represent the Company at key customer project and commercial meetings.
Key experience required:
- Hold or have the ability to achieve DV level UK Security Clearance
- Project management experience with UK MOD and other UK government departments.
- Experience of UK MOD maritime electrical installation projects.
- Technical experience of electrical/electronic, IT networking equipment and satellite
- communication.
- Experience writing equipment guidance, installation guidance packages and Modification Leaflets to a high standard.
- First-class communication skills.
- Customer-centric focus with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to produce a high standard of work which meets or exceeds customer’s requirements.
- Flexibility with travel and requirements of the role.
