About The Role
We are recruiting a Production Controller who is responsible for monitoring the execution of the production plan and ensuring manufacturing activities progress according to schedule. The role serves as the primary operational link between Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to drive schedule adherence and delivery performance.
- Production Execution
- Monitor daily production activities against plan.
- Track work order progress throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure priorities are clearly communicated to production teams.
- Control
- Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and production constraints.
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of production issues.
- Coordinate production priorities based on material availability.
- Monitor production capacity utilisation.
- Performance Monitoring
- Report on schedule attainment, WIP status, and delivery risks.
- Support daily production reviews and operational meetings.
- Maintain accurate production control records and system updates.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience: proven background in production control, manufacturing operations, or planning, in an aerospace or high-technology manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in an energetic operational environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
