Overview
In this role you will shape AALTO’s public presence as Stratospace scales, engaging with governments, regulators and partners. You’ll lead the external narrative, executive communications and investor narratives, while safeguarding reputation through crisis management. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to secure regulatory access, support market entry, and advance strategic milestones. This high-profile position offers influence across markets and the opportunity to amplify AALTO’s mission in a rapidly evolving aerospace domain.

Responsibilities
- Lead global public affairs strategy to secure regulatory access and market confidence
- Cultivate trusted relationships with governments, regulators and senior stakeholders
- Define external narrative around funding, operations and milestones
- Steer corporate communications including executive positioning and employee messaging
- Collaborate with CEO and CFO on investor communications and strategic positioning
- Support market entry and growth via political engagement and stakeholder mapping
- Act as senior spokesperson for high-stakes media and external engagements
- Shape executive communications for boards and leadership forums
- Own crisis communications and issues management advising leaders
Key requirements
- Senior experience in government relations, public affairs and corporate communications
- Proven ability to influence senior external decision-makers and advise executive teams
- Strong communications judgement across policy, commercial, investor, media and employee audiences
- Exceptional writing skills including speechwriting and executive messaging
- Commercial acumen and understanding of how reputation drives growth and access
- Ability to balance strategic storytelling with regulatory sensitivity and credibility
- Deep crisis communications and issues-management expertise
- Credible leadership with strong relationship-building
- Experience engaging senior government, regulatory and industry stakeholders
