As a Transport Administrator you will play an integral part in supporting your colleagues and the wider network. You will be accountable for ensuring that the department runs smoothly from an administrative perspective, allowing us to continue to deliver an efficient service to all of our customers. Within this fast‑paced role, no two days will be the same. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 am–16:15 pm; an element of flexibility will be required in regard to start/finish times to support the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- General administrative duties
- Note taking
- Providing excellent customer service to everybody you interact with
- Managing supplier orders
- Supporting the Transport Management Team
- Managing diaries, meetings and events
- Working closely with other teams on site and throughout the business
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
Qualifications
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Effective team player
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous Transport experience and a sound understanding of Transport operations
