Urgently seeking two Quality Inspector to be based on-site full-time for approx. 3 months supporting a customer program in Derby. The desired candidates will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace Inspection role, performing inspection to engineering drawings, customer purchase order, industry standards and specifications.

Supporting the final inspection process, support will include:

  • Visual inspection
  • Dimensional inspection, using hand measurement equipment
  • Review completeness of manufacturing documentation (e.g. CofCs, routers, etc.)
  • Document inspection, preparing non-conformance reports as necessary
  • Update customer systems

Experience requirements:

  • Demonstrate evidence of more than 2-years in the last 5-years of aerospace experience and posess experience of working within an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings
  • Demonstrate knowledge of geometric, dimensioning and tolerance
  • Demonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience in fabricated parts, which are welded and rivited
  • Knowledge / experience of AS9100 and AS9102 standards highly advantageous
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Additional Requirements:

  • To ensure access to technical data, we seek EU Nationals / Passport holders only.
  • Monday 3pm – 1am/Tuesday – Thursday 3pm – 00:30am The pay rate between 6pm and 00:30 / 01:00 will be £30/hour.
