Contract duration: 3-6 months.
Pay rate: £29p/h (Inside IR35).
Location: Redditch.
Frequency: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.
Our Aerospace customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.
Job Description:
- Visual inspection with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
- Daily inspection of Forgings.
- Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
- Further orientation will be performed onsite.
Skill Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience using dimensional inspection equipment.
- Hands-on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5.
- Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings.
- Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes.
- Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports.
- Experience with Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.
- Must be UK Citizen.
