At AAG, our people are our greatest asset — and we’re serious about investing in their growth. We’re a fast-paced, high-growth business with big ambitions, and we’re looking for someone who’s passionate about developing talent, building capability, and raising standards across the firm.
As the business continues to grow, we’re strengthening our commitment to structured training, professional development, and continuous improvement. This role is a chance to shape how our staff learn, grow, and progress, embedding high-quality training, strong technical capability, and a culture of development across AAG.
This is not a back-office training role. This is about influencing standards, driving capability, and making a visible impact on how our people perform and progress.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of training and development across AAG Wealth Management, shaping how our people learn, grow, and perform as the business continues to scale. You’ll design and deliver high-quality training programmes that build technical capability, confidence, and consistency across our PSS team — using your paraplanning experience to embed real-world best practice, strong standards, and regulatory excellence.
Working closely with the Senior Operations & Technology Manager, Head of People & Operations, and wider leadership team, you’ll influence how new processes, systems, and regulatory changes are implemented and adopted across the business. You’ll be joining AAG at a pivotal stage of growth, with genuine autonomy to shape our training framework, materials, and culture of development.
This is a role with real visibility, real responsibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both individual careers and the wider success of the firm.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead the training, development, and competency of all PSS staff.
- Maintain, review, and quality-check the PSS Skills Matrix to identify training needs and upskilling opportunities.
- Apply paraplanning knowledge to review PSS work for technical accuracy, learning, and progression.
- Design, deliver, and coordinate onboarding and structured training programs for new starters.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver AAG training materials, processes, and procedural frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Senior Operations & Technology Manager on new processes and systems, including training creation, delivery, and post-implementation checks.
- Liaise with SJP to implement new training materials and identify efficiencies and development opportunities.
- Support all PSS towards SJP accreditation and ensure compliance with Consumer Duty training requirements.
- Communicate updates from Partners, PSS, and Salesforce; deliver training at company meetings and weekly forums.
- Identify performance or competency issues, supporting improvement plans through coaching and development.
- Monitor Quality of Documentation (QOD), follow up on cases.
- Provide additional operational support as requested by the Head of People & Operations.
