Our client has been established since the late 1800's and has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing their range of taps, showers and valves ever since. They supply a wide range of bathroom and kitchen solutions for both domestic and commercial options through plumbers and builders merchants as well as DIY outlets and trade stores such as B & Q and Toolstation.
We are currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to manage and develop the Northeast and Yorkshire regions. The role involves developing strategic plans to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes within KPI's.
Responsibilities- Develop strategic plans to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes within KPI's.
- Participate in development programmes as required, including employee dialogue, appraisals and reviews.
- Manage weekly diary in a structured manner and collaborate with the wider business to share best practices, resolve any customer queries/complaints by investigating problems and providing solutions.
- Provide key market insight into changes in customer requirements, competitor activity and newly launched products.
- Experience of selling plumbing related products such as showers, bathrooms, washrooms and/or accessories to the Merchant sector and Stockists.
- Consideration will be given to those from a plumbing distributor who are keen to operate in the manufacturing sector.
