The Role
UK Employment Tax Advisor – Scotland
As a UK Employment Tax Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and senior team members in navigating the complexities of UK employment taxes.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the day-to-day delivery of client engagements, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy.
- Supporting employment tax projects, working closely with our clients and senior team members to ensure compliance.
- Contributing to client advisory projects, covering, PAYE, NIC, benefits in kind, CIS termination payments, IR35, while collaborating with senior team members and subject matter experts.
- Conducting technical research and analysis on employment tax matters to provide insightful recommendations.
- Preparing tax calculations, documentation, and advisory reports for clients.
- Engaging with clients to provide support on UK employment tax developments and topics.
- Supporting senior team members with PAYE reviews, client advisory projects and HMRC employer compliance checks.
- Assisting in the development and mentoring of junior team members.

- Ideally holding ATT and CTA qualification(s) or actively working towards this.
- Experience or exposure to employment tax practices
- A background outside of a traditional Big 4 firm is welcome, as we focus on tailored advisory support to clients
