THE ROLE
Global Employment Tax Senior Manager – London
As a Senior Manager, you’ll take the lead on a broad range of client engagements—from mid-sized, high-growth businesses navigating global mobility for the first time, to established companies running complex, multi-jurisdictional programs. You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional delivery, providing trusted strategic input, and helping shape the future of the team and wider service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of global tax and payroll compliance programs, balancing large, technically complex engagements with agile, high-touch support for mid-sized and growing clients.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building deep, trusted relationships through tailored, commercially aware advice.
- Ensure operational excellence across all engagements—including budgeting, scope management, risk, and delivery oversight.
- Support the ongoing growth of the service line through business development, cross-service collaboration, and identifying opportunities to expand relationships.
- Take ownership of people leadership, providing clear direction, coaching, and formal development for team members across all levels.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Keep abreast of evolving global mobility regulations and trends, ensuring our clients receive proactive, forward-thinking advice.
What You Bring:
- A strong track record in global mobility tax compliance and advisory, ideally with both large-scale program experience and exposure to growing, mid-market clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-country engagements efficiently and profitably.
- Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring, formal line management, and talent development.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive portfolio growth and spot new opportunities.
- Effective communicator with the confidence to advise at senior levels and collaborate across teams.
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent international qualifications preferred).
