ROLE PURPOSE
- Leading HR service delivery in Scotland
- Owning and delivering the annual HR plan for your region
- Managing operational KPIs, budgets, SLAs and utilisation
- Forecasting and resourcing projects to ensure quality and client satisfaction
- Working closely with Operations and Finance to ensure smooth delivery, invoicing and reporting
- Identifying and managing risks and opportunities across the service line
- Leading and developing our people
- Creating a high-performing, engaged and values-led team culture
- Providing visible, supportive leadership in a hybrid working environment
- Setting clear goals, holding regular 1:1s, and supporting individual development
- Developing capability, succession plans and best in class HR expertise
- Acting as a central point of communication and collaboration within the team
- Driving business development
- Playing a lead role in growing the HR consultancy offering in Central Scotland
- Working closely with the Commercial Director and senior leaders on proposals, pricing and tenders
- Actively cross-selling AAB People and wider AAB Group services
- Building strong internal relationships across the Group
- Representing AAB People externally through networking, partnerships and professional forums
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Providing commercially focused, pragmatic HR and employment law advice
- Supporting both clients and HR Managers through complex employee relations matters
- Acting as a trusted advisor and bringing fresh thinking to client challenges
- Reviewing client portfolios to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk
Experience & qualifications
- Deep expertise in HR consultancy, employee relations and employment legislation
- Experience leading and developing teams within a professional services environment
- Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset
- A consultative, flexible approach to complex problem-solving
- The confidence to influence at senior levels, internally and externally
- Excellent communication, planning and project management skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
