THE ROLE
Employee Benefit Consultant - Edinburgh/Glasgow
Duties will include the following:
- Review current benefits packages for Clients/Prospects and assess their effectiveness
- Recommend improvements or new benefits/policies that align with the company's objectives, goals and budgets
- Ensure the proposed benefits plans comply with all relevant laws and regulations
- Present and explain the benefits to the Employer's workforce, as and when required
- Negotiate with insurers (whole of market) to secure the best possible terms for the Employer
- Monitor and keep in touch with industry trends and legislative changes, in relation to employee benefits
- Provide ongoing consultation on benefits-related issues and employee queries
- Prepare and maintain reports and records related to benefits plans
- To maintain and develop a portfolio of clients
- Building relationships internally at AAB to help secure and provide referrals across the group
- Be professionally qualified to a minimum of relevant level 4 qualification
- Prior experience of delivering employee benefit consultancy
- Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Proven to have identified and secured new business opportunities.
- Knowledge and experience of the core Group Pension, Group Risk and Health & Wellbeing markets and products.
- Enjoy working with and supporting your colleagues in both the office and hybrid environment.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues in other teams to ensure an effective and positive working environment.
- Manage personal workload effectively to ensure appropriate service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Have experience of flexible benefits platforms
