THE ROLEEmployee Benefit Consultant – Edinburgh/Glasgow

Duties will include the following:Review current benefits packages for Clients/Prospects and assess their effectivenessRecommend improvements or new benefits/policies that align with the company\’s objectives, goals and budgetsEnsure the proposed benefits plans comply with all relevant laws and regulationsPresent and explain the benefits to the Employer\’s workforce, as and when requiredNegotiate with insurers (whole of market) to secure the best possible terms for the EmployerMonitor and keep in touch with industry trends and legislative changes, in relation to employee benefitsProvide ongoing consultation on benefits-related issues and employee queriesPrepare and maintain reports and records related to benefits plansTo maintain and develop a portfolio of clientsBuilding relationships internally at AAB to help secure and provide referrals across the groupBe professionally qualified to a minimum of relevant level 4 qualificationPrior experience of delivering employee benefit consultancyAbility to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.Proven to have identified and secured new business opportunities.Knowledge and experience of the core Group Pension, Group Risk and Health & Wellbeing markets and products.Enjoy working with and supporting your colleagues in both the office and hybrid environment.Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues in other teams to ensure an effective and positive working environment.Manage personal workload effectively to ensure appropriate service to both internal and external stakeholders.Have experience of flexible benefits platforms
