About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive HR to support the

continued growth of our domiciliary care organisation.

The company operates across multiple branches and holds a Skilled Worker sponsor

licence. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the wider HR, recruitment

compliance and employee administration function.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working within a

growing organisation and helping to develop consistent HR systems and processes.

The role will cover the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment compliance,

onboarding, employee records, Right to Work, sponsorship administration, probation,

absence management, HR documentation and workforce compliance.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Prepare contracts, offer letters and other employment documentation.

Process employee changes including hours, roles, salaries and locations.

Maintain HR trackers and compliance records.

Support managers with day-to-day HR queries.

Coordinate new starters and leavers.

Maintain probation, absence and employee documentation.

Support disciplinary, grievance and other employee relations processes where

required.

Recruitment & Onboarding

Work closely with the Recruiter and branch managers to support recruitment

requirements.

Ensure recruitment processes follow safer recruitment standards.

Coordinate pre-employment checks.

Obtain and monitor references, DBS checks and employment documentation.

Complete and maintain Right-to-Work records.

Prepare conditional offers and employment contracts.

Coordinate employee onboarding and induction.

Ensure recruitment files are complete before employees are cleared to work.

Support recruitment activity during periods of high demand.

Applicant Tracking System

Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the companys ATS.

Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment stages.

Ensure recruitment documentation is recorded correctly within the system.

Monitor outstanding candidate compliance requirements.

Produce recruitment pipeline reports.

Help standardise recruitment processes across all branches.

Skilled Worker Sponsor Compliance

Maintain accurate records for sponsored employees.

Monitor visa and Right-to-Work expiry dates.

Maintain sponsorship compliance trackers.

Ensure relevant employment and immigration documentation is retained.

Monitor changes relating to sponsored workers and escalate potential reportable

changes to the appropriate senior manager or Sponsor Management System

user.

Assist with internal sponsor compliance audits.

Support preparations for potential Home Office compliance visits.

Care Sector Compliance

Support safer recruitment requirements within a CQC-regulated care

environment.

Conduct periodic employee-file compliance checks.

Monitor mandatory workforce documentation.

Support Registered Managers with HR evidence required for audits and

inspections.

Identify and follow up missing or expired employee documentation. Help maintain HR processes that support CQC regulatory requirements.

Training, Probation & Attendance

Maintain probation and mandatory training trackers.

Notify managers of upcoming probation reviews and training expiries.

Monitor completion of probation reviews.

Maintain sickness and absence records.

Monitor return-to-work documentation.

Identify recurring absence or compliance issues for management attention.

HR Reporting

Prepare regular HR and recruitment information for senior management, including:

Recruitment pipeline.

Vacancies and new starters.

Outstanding recruitment checks.

Right-to-Work compliance.

Visa expiry dates.

Training compliance.

Probation reviews.

Employee-file compliance.

Staff absence.

Employee turnover and leavers.

Person Specification

Essential: The successful candidate should have experience within HR, recruitment or

workforce compliance and demonstrate:

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience maintaining confidential employee records.

Knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes.

Understanding of Right-to-Work checks.

Confidence using HR systems, ATS platforms or similar software.

Good Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Ability to work independently and follow up outstanding actions with managers.

Desirable

Experience or knowledge of the following would be particularly beneficial:

Knowledge of CQC regulations

Safer recruitment within health or social care.

Skilled Worker sponsor licence compliance.

Home Office sponsor compliance requirements.

Employee relations.

HR audits.

ATS implementation.

Multi-site or multi-branch organisations.
