We are hiring a Prime Brokerage Business Development professional to join our London team, focused on originating new Prime Brokerage business and expanding the firm’s PB client base. The role centers on identifying and engaging prospective hedge fund and professional trading clients, while onboarding and ongoing coverage are handled by dedicated internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and introduce new hedge fund and professional trading clients to the Prime Brokerage platform.
- Proactively source new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and existing industry relationships.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective PB clients, from initial contact through to client introduction.
- Present and articulate the firm’s Prime Brokerage value proposition clearly to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal onboarding and coverage teams to ensure a smooth handover once new business is secured.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- More than 2 years experience with understanding of Prime Brokerage products, services, and client ecosystem.
- Prior exposure to Prime Brokerage, sales, or business development activities preferred.
- Ability to originate new business, with existing client relationships or the capacity to introduce 1–2 clients viewed as a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging clients by phone and in meetings.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and able to work in a performance-driven environment.
