OTC Trader

About the Role

They are seeking an OTC Trader to support global trading activity across a range of spot and options products within the digital asset market. This individual will operate in a fast‑paced, quantitative environment alongside seasoned traders and engineers, gaining exposure to both traditional options frameworks and the rapidly evolving structure of crypto markets.

This is a junior‑level role suited for someone with a strong foundation in options or derivatives trading who is eager to apply those skills to a new asset class.

Responsibilities

• Price and execute OTC and options trades while managing client inquiries and market exposure in real time.
• Support senior traders with monitoring portfolios, reconciling trades, and managing positions.
• Contribute to risk‑management processes and ensure all activity remains within defined parameters.
• Analyze market data, volatility surfaces, and option Greeks to support trading decisions.
• Collaborate with quantitative and engineering teams to enhance trading systems and analytical tools.
• Stay up to date on macro trends and digital asset market developments relevant to trading strategy.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or finance‑related discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance).
• Experience in options or derivatives trading, including internships or analyst‑level roles on a trading desk.
• Strong understanding of options theory, including Greeks, volatility, and risk‑reward dynamics.
• Comfortable working with data using Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail, especially under time pressure.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in financial innovation.
