Overview
Our client is an expanding institutional brokerage platform providing high-quality execution and market access to hedge funds and asset managers across global markets. The firm combines high-touch flow trading with scalable, technology-enabled infrastructure. The platform already operates across multiple asset classes.
They are seeking an experienced Flow Sales Trader to join their London team. This is a front-office, market-facing role focused on pricing, execution, and client flow management, working closely with institutional clients active across Rates, FX, and Emerging Markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary market-facing contact for institutional clients, including hedge funds and asset managers.
- Provide competitive pricing and high-quality execution across cash and derivative products.
- Manage and coordinate client trading flow, sourcing liquidity efficiently across venues and counterparties.
- Deliver market colour, execution insight, and trade ideas to clients.
- Monitor market conditions, liquidity, and volatility to ensure consistent and responsible pricing.
- Partner closely with colleagues across sales, trading, and operations to deliver seamless execution outcomes.
- Support client strategies including macro, relative value, hedging, and arbitrage.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of product coverage, execution workflows, and client-facing tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years’ experience in flow trading or sales trading within Rates, FX, Fixed Income, and/or Emerging Markets.
- Strong product expertise in at least one core area, such as government bonds, interest rate products, FX, or EM Rates/FX/Fixed Income.
- Proven experience executing and servicing institutional client flow, particularly hedge funds and asset managers.
- Deep understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and execution mechanics.
- Strong commercial instincts and client-facing communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset, comfortable contributing to a growing platform.
- Collaborative approach with a strong focus on execution quality.
