We are supporting our client with their requirement for a Marketing Assistant/Content Creator. This role primarily focuses on creating engaging, platform optimised content for social media and other digital marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on video-first content and performance.
Please note that for this position, weekend work (Saturdays) in mandatory.
The candidate’s skillset should be primarily creative, with strong videography, photography and content creation expertise. Basic administrative knowledge is secondary and can be trained.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and produce high quality photo and video content on site.
- Create engaging content aligned with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Edit and format content for optimal performance across platforms.
- (e.g. Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn)
- Optimise content based on platform best practices (ratios, hooks, trends).
- Manage content scheduling in line with marketing calendar.
- Monitor content performance and optimise accordingly.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute content.
- Stay up to date with social media and trends.
- Proven content creation experience (photo & video), with strong videography skills.
- Ability to create engaging short form content.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and platform optimisation.
- Experience in photo and video editing software.
- Ability to work on site and capture content proactively.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Optional
- Experience monitoring content performance and refining output.
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools and analytics.
- Proactive approach to identifying and capturing content opportunities.
- Understanding of how content supports brand growth and engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Preferred
- Portfolio of previous visual/video work.
- Experience creating content within retail or luxury environments.
- Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe etc.
- Admin/Ecommerce experience (e.g. Shopify, Loomly)
