AUDIT ASSOCIATE

To operate in a structured work environment

• Undertakes specific stages of audit work under supervision by the Audit Senior
• Begins to appreciate the underlying principles behind the tasks assigned as part of the audit plan
• Obtain audit evidence to corroborate information
• Perform quality audit in compliance with professional standards.
• Able to make adjustments to the application of skills to improve the work tasks or solve non‑complex issues
• Able to build relationships, work in a team and identify ethical issues with reference to the code of professional conduct and ethics
• Able to select and apply from a range of known solutions to familiar problems and takes responsibility for own learning and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience. Entry level are welcome to apply.
• Execute assigned audit tasks under supervision
• Good communication and writing skills
• Able to communicate well with people of all levels
• Able to work independently and handle stress under tight deadlines with commitment
• Good command in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Work
• Act in accordance with applicable professional standards
• Knowledge of Caseware Audit Software will be an added advantage.
