Overview
C+E Fuel Driver – Full Time, Permanent
Location: Maidstone
Working Hours: Night shift – starts around 4/5pm, average shift times of 10–11 hours
Salary: £1080 per week, including guaranteed overtime and a weekly bonus
Company Benefits: Pay is weekly; modern trucks (Volvo or MAN); permanent position in a friendly, family-run business with ex-drivers in the office; 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year; optional pension plan with employment; training provided, and renewal training (including ADR and CPC) paid for by the company
We have a position available working as a fuel driver out of our depot in Headcorn as a night driver.
The Role – C+E Fuel Driver
This role is based at our Headcorn depot and involves safely delivering and collecting various fuels as a night driver.
Responsibilities
- Be paired with a driver trainer in the first two weeks to learn safe delivery and collection of fuels, with assessment if already qualified
- Carry out PPE checks; PPE will be issued for this position
- Use the tacho card, perform vehicle checks, and obtain notes for the day’s work
- Receive weekly work allocations from the transport team and communicate any delays or issues promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Up-to-date CPC Card
- All ADR categories are required, except categories 1 and 7
- All content reflects a family-run company culture and high responsibility towards customers and equipment
