This is a permanent position in a friendly, family-run business that has ex-drivers in the office.
The Role:
In your first week on the job, you would be paired with one of our driver trainers learning how to safely load and deliver ad-blue along with following the correct paperwork and procedures. All work will be planned and sent via tablet system; a good understanding of tablet devices is essential. All PPE for this role would be issued to you prior to starting. Your work will vary each week, but you will be returning to our Headcorn depot to start and finish the week. All hours paid as per tachograph, including breaks. Your jobs will continue to be allocated to you throughout the week via our customer, so communication is essential β any delays, issues, or relevant information need to be passed on as soon as possible. Multi drop deliveries around London, South of England & Wales. Willing to work 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota system if needed.
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
- Valid CE license.
- At least two years' experience on class 1 work.
- Must be able to stay out 4 nights per week in the truck.
- Valid Digital tacho.
- Up to date CPC Card.
- A current ADR license, all classes except 1&7 in tanks would be a big advantage but is not a requirement.
