We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our agency team and support services across Peterhead- Aberdeen.
These are excellent opportunities for experienced Support Workers looking for flexible agency work, with regular shifts available across community-based services.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals within community settings, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Typical shifts are 08:00am-20:00pm, providing the opportunity to secure regular daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred care and support to individuals within the community
- Supporting service users with daily living activities and maintaining their independence
- Following individual care and support plans
- Supporting individuals with appointments, activities and community engagement
- Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation
- Working effectively alongside colleagues and other professionals
- Promoting dignity, choice, independence and safeguarding at all times
About You
We are looking for reliable and compassionate Support Workers who are confident working within community-based services.
You should have:
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or within a similar care environment
- A caring, patient and person-centred approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Flexibility and reliability when accepting shifts
